On Friday, Lizzo shocked everyone when she took to Instagram to say, “I quit.” She didn’t get specific about what she was quitting, but said the reason behind her post had to do with all the “lies” being told about her. Lizzo has hit a rough patch. Her feel-good, body positivity image took a hit back in August when some of her former dancers filed a lawsuit against her, accusing her of sexual harassment and weight-shaming. The lawsuit is still ongoing, and clearly the legal battle is getting to her. So does Lizzo really feel it’s “About Damn Time” for her to hang it up? Or will there be more Lizzo music down the road?
