This guy. John Amaechi is fantastic. The psychologist and former NBA star sits down with Danny & Phil to discuss what it is to be a broad, powerful, 6’9” Black man in a world of tiny people. He talks with great care about the responsibilities his body brings with it, standing out, and having incredible physical power but being careful never to use it. As the first openly gay player in the NBA, he’s a man who can talk openly and wisely about almost anything - and we certainly learned a lot.
