I AM ATHLETE TONIGHT | Season 1: Special I Am Athlete Tonight is a show hosted by former NFL defensive end Leger Douzable along with co-host Brandon Marshall, Michael Vick and Chantel Tremitiere. This show is focused on everything sports and brings you an inside look at some of the top headlines in sports. Kicking things off Leger, Brandon, Michael and Chantel all introduce themselves by sharing three things about themselves before jumping into some of the top trending headlines in sports. Starting off the cast discuss the struggles of Jacksonville Jaguars head coach Urban Myer after making the jump from collegiate football to the NFL. Brandon questions the cast on what they think the owner of the jaguars should do with Urban. The cast all agree with Chantel when she shares that Urban must be fired. They all go on to individually explain why they believe it’s time for Jacksonville to cut the cord on Urban Myers. The cast jumps to the status of Ben “Big Ben” Roethlisberger and discuss if it’s time for Big Ben to hang up his cleats or not. Leger Douzable reminisces and shares personal stories about sacking Big Ben when he and Michael Vick played for the Jets. Vick, chimes in and shares that he believes that Big Ben knows his career is over and he should hang his cleats. Vick goes on to share a personal story to what moments led him to knowing it was time for him to walk away from the game. Brandon changes gears as he questions the differences between Big Ben and Seattle Seahawks’ Quarterback Russell Wilson’s predicaments this season. The cast discuss rather or not Russell can be success if he doesn’t have help from his offensive line and other offensive weapons on the field. Brandon questions rather the issues is with Head Coach Pete Carroll and share that he believes that Seattle’s issues start with the teams philosophy and Coach Carroll has to change his ways and adjust to the game. Wrapping things up Leger brings up Lebron James and questions the longevity of his game and prompts the cast with the question of how much longer do they think Lebron can last in the NBA? Brandon shares that he looks at athletes the same way he looks at entertainers like Jay-Z. He shares that Jay-s longevity is because he was able to evolve and adjust.
